If we drove down Hy 17, stopped at the MINI church and (photo opp) then on to Jekyll for lunch. We have also run trips to Beaufort, SC, Charleston, and Jacksonville as well as trips to the Savannah Wild Life Refuge and the old airfield at Shellman Bluff. Some good info can be found <A HREF="http://www.sherpaguides.com/georgia/coast/central_coast/shellman_bluff.html" REL="nofollow">here.</A> We could a look at some of the Coastal Forts on Hy 17 like Fort King George in Darien.
