Coastal Monthly Mini Meet - March 1st

Whew...this month is flying by...oh wait, it is only 28 days long. It time for our next monthly meet. We will be meeting at our usual MINI place (Starbucks on Victory Dr) and MINI time (10am).

At this meet we will be brainstorming, discussing, and take votes on up and coming events. Everyone feedback would greatly be appreciated. The goal is not to do everything on the list but a least 2-3 of these events this year.

Current suggestion list:

• Time-Speed-Distance Race (Check out the last MC2 magazine)
• Photo Scavenger Hunt on the way to Mini of Charleston (possible to hook up with Mini of Charleston or MINI groups in the area)
• Sandgnats Game
• Leopold's Ice Cream & Tour the Squares of Downtown Savannah
• Go-carting event in Pooler
• BBQ / Cookout / MINI Carwash

If we finish the discussion early, we could take a run to Fort Morris Historic Site (http://gastateparks.org/info/ftmorris/) and get lunch at Sunbury Crab Co.(http://www.sunburycrabco.com/).

Coastal MINI's Meet February 1st, 2009!!

Hello Coastal MINI's...
We had great turn-out; and just beautiful weather!!...Stephanie handed out flyers for upcoming Events...HelenBlitz 2009 (Feb. 27, 28 and March 1)...Kicklighter Academy 1st Annual Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show (March 14th)!!

After savoring deeelicious coffees from our meeting location we motored to Tybee Islands' North Beach; twisting and turning through narrow beach roads, stopping for a photo shoot at one of Tybee's main attractions...the Lighthouse!!....Check out Stephanies' Blog..AND...Scrubbys' site for photo details!!

Calendar 'marking' time!!.....Our next Club Event...Saturday the 21st...this event is listed on Noels' site...JetSet MINI's!!!....HOO-HOO...Road trip!!!

Hello Coastal MINI's....

One last chance to attend tomorrows' game...I have 5 (FREE) tickets available for the
game...free MINI parking, too!!!

THIS IS ALL ABOUT THE 'KIDS'....because...for each MINI from our Club that attends
the game....one GREAT MINI item will be donated by MINI of Charleston....these items will be put toward all the items up for auction to the Speedway Childrens' Charity...which...is the MAIN event at HelenBlitz 2009 in beautiful Helen, GA....that event taking place February 27th, 28th and March 1st!!

I will be at our "between Meets" parking location...the BP station at the Airport Road exit..
....map only...(not the event listed with the map!!).....tomorrow...Saturday the 7th...between 8:30AM--9AM....leaving for Charleston promptly at 9:00 AM..!!!
