Happy 4th of July everyone!!!
Even though it's a holiday weekend, if you get a chance stop and see us this coming Sunday for our Monthly Meeting. However, we are not meeting at the usual spot. We decided to change it up a bit and we will be meeting this Sunday the 5th, at 10:00am at the Sonic on Montgomery Crossroads. Come check it out!
Around the middle of June, MTTS flew through Savannah on the tails of "The Flying Finn"Rauno Aaltonen, who is quite an accomplished MINI race car driver, on their way to Boston from Miami. They stopped at the visitors center, had lunch at Blowin' Smoke BBQ, and even had time for some ice cream at Leopold's. It was wonderful to meet everyone! Murray has an excellent write up on the days events at murmini.com, as does Stephanie on her blog.
We are still working on planning our August event with the Savannah Sand Gnats. This will surely be discussed at our meeting on Sunday at The Sonic on Montgomery Crossroads. Hope to see you there!
